RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES
CATEGORY QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
1. Site Manager Graduate in Electrical and/or Electrical & Mechanical Discipline
Minimum of 10 years out of which at least 5 years in middle east, in construction of
industrial plants such as petrochemicals, refinery, power, steel, water desalination
plants.
2 Site Engineer Degree or diploma in Engineering Total experience of about 10 years.
Minimum experience of at least 5 years in gulf mainly in construction of electromechanical
industrial projects. Should be familiar with international codes and standards, must be able to understand jobs
specification, prepare installation details, material take-off from drawings and
engineering calculation for power, cables and lighting system.
3 Design Engineer – \Elect./Instr.Graduate in Electrical /Instrumentation
5 years experience in refineries / petrochemical projects - design experience
with consulting engineering firms will be an essence in selection for design engineers.
4 Sr. Elect./instr. Engineer Graduate in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
7-10 years construction projects experience like Aramco, Sceco, Sabic. Must have
proficiency in field engineering.
5 Senior Estimator Graduate in Electrical Engineering Estimation experience of 5-7 years in middle
east countries will be an essential element in candidature selection - estimating electri
instr & mech of industrial plant is mandatory.
6 Estimators – Elect./Instr. Graduate in Electrical and/or in Electrical & Instrumentation
Discipline.
Must have worked in bidding department in reputable electromechanical construction
company, having experience of at least 5-7 years in estimating projects: preparation of
detailed B.O.Q, estimating manpower & costing of material, prepare manpower
loading charts, equipment list, progress curves, etc.
7 QA/QC Engineer / Inspector
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Total experience of about 10 years.
Minimum 5 years in the gulf with international construction companies and
mainly in quality assurance and quality control for construction projects. Should be
familiar in ISO 9001 and will be responsible in establishing the QA/QC department.
8 Safety Engineer / Inspector
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and recognized
Certificate for Industrial Safety
Total experience of about 5 years. Minimum 5 years in the gulf, mainly in construction
projects, preferably petrochemical plants / refineries, etc.
9 Planner / Scheduler Graduate in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in project planning and scheduling of construction
activities, power plants or heavy industrial plants / petrochemical plants. Well versed
with primavera programme.
10 Quantity Surveyor Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in gulf, must be able to measure quantities of work done
on site and report data entry on computers.
Computer knowledge in excel is essential.
Experience in primavera planner v will be and added advantages.
11 CADD Operator Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Total experience of about 8 years. Minimum 5 years on cad release 2000 and micro
station, having work in a design consulting firm engaged in preparation of electrical
drawings for industrial plants.
12 Technical Secretary Bachelor Degree Total experience of about 10 years.
Minimum 5 years in the gulf with construction companies. Familiar with
Microsoft Office, minimum typing speed 45 wpm, shorthand 80 wpm, capable for self
correspondence and preparation of daily report & schedule.
13 Supervisor Elect. / Instr. Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
5 years experience in refineries / petrochemical projects - design experience
with consulting engineering firms will be an essence in selection for a design engineers
(electrical).
14 Supervisor - Piping (FRP- Pipe / Fiber Glass -Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Welding
Certificate from ASME/ASS preferred.
Experience in welding supervisions and fabrication of pipe shoe supports, pipe joints
(bevel welding, butt welding & tig welding).
Experience in fiber glass pipes joints up to 20" dia.
15 Supervisor/Foreman - Scaffolding
Diploma/Certificate in Scaffolding
Minimum 5 years experience in middle east, must be able to measure quantities of work
done on site and report data entry on computers. Computer knowledge in excel is
essential. Experience in primavera planner will be an added advantage.
16 QA/QC Inspector -Electrical Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Total experience of about 10 years.
Minimum 5 years in the gulf with international construction companies and
mainly in quality assurance and quality control for construction projects. Should be
familiar in ISO 9001 and will be responsible in establishing the QA/QC department.
17 Instrument Technician Diploma/Certificate Course in Instrumentation
5-8 years experience in installation & calibration of field instruments.
18 Instrument Fitter Diploma/Certificate Course in Piping/Tubing.
5-8 years experience in instrument tubing & leak testing.
19 Electrician Diploma/Certificate Course in Electrical
5-8 years experience in cable glanding & termination. Understanding of electrical /
instrumentation termination drawings.
20 Conduit Fitter Diploma/Certificate Course in Pipe Fitter.
5-8 years experience in electrical conduit (including PVC coated conduits) installation.
21 Cable Installation
Technician
Secondary School
Passed
4-6 years experience in cable pulling.
22 Pipe Fitters - Fiber Glass Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in fabrication of pipe shoe supports, pipe joints (bevel welding, butt
welding & tig welding). Experience in fiber glass pipes joints up to dia 20", fiber
glass routing and pipe bonding.
23. Welding Inspector Certificate of Society of Welding Inspectors (CSWIP)
5 years experience in industrial plants such as petrochemicals, refinery, power, steel,
water desalination plants.
24. Fabricator Diploma/Certificate Course in Mechanical
5-8 years experience in fabrication & installation of cable tray, conduit,
equipment, lighting, field devices etc supports.
25. Heavy Equip. Operator 5-8 years of heavy equipment operations
with valid license, at least 2-3 years experience in gulf countries.
26. Heavy Driver Minimum 5 years of experience in gulf countries driving heavy duty vehicles with
valid heavy duty license.
27. H.D. Mechanic Diploma/Certificate Course in Automobile
5 years practical experience in repairing and maintenance of electrical and
hydraulic lifting equipments, cranes up to 50 ton capacity, fork lifts, petrol / diesel
vehicles.
28. Lathe Machine Mechanic Diploma/Certificate
Course in Workshop Technology
